  The staff were welcoming and spoke good English. The rooms were small but comfortable and well appointed and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good by Paris standards.   Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.

  Clean well air conditioned triple room. Loved the decor and the hotel lay out. It's worth noting it is in fact Hotel Chateaubriand, not Romancier anymore. You can find several kinds of cheese, butter, bread, jams,etc.. So they do not offer you only croissant .. It was delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. So I love the hotel very much..
