  Hotel Langlois was so much better than we hoped. First time to Paris and had read a lot of feedback about small rooms, uncomfortable, hot, noisy rooms. Hotel Langlois was completely the opposite and everything we had hoped for ... Very comfortable, quiet, airconditioned, perfectly positioned for both attractions, cafe's and restaurants. Also Gare St Lazare was not far away ... and to arrive at Hotel Langlois - we walked with - The hotel is situated close to 2 metro stations, and close to Montmartre. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel

(the breakfast manager this year was a delightful young woman who gave us excellent service!) - Staff were incredible. Welcoming, fun and intimate atmosphere. Spacious rooms, excellent location. There are very many great restaurants and you are really in the heart of the action, but the hotel itself is on a quiet block so you don't have to deal with hearing the night life and busy-ness just a block or two away. For it's location (Latin Quarter), the price was quite reasonable. Communication with the hotel staff prior to our arrival was very friendly and helpful.
