Clean, quiet, friendly hotel. The rooms are well equipped and are ideal for people who are staying longer as the rooms are designed as a home from home. It even had a dishwasher! Free internet a big plus too. Transport connections are excellent (bus stop and bike hire on your doorstep). There are computers available for use (free), a pool table (free) and a gym. Excellent hotel!. Staff was super-helpful and friendly although they were quite busy due to Fete des luminaries! The hotel is very close to Tete d'or Churchill PArk but it takes around 40 minutes to reach to the city by walk. We really love the room design (stayed in a superior room). It was clean and comfortable. Strongly recommended!.

Best of all is location in the center of restaurants and a very good cinema. Proximity to Modern Art Museum and Parc. Parking close. A one stop" hotel for a nice week end. I was attending a congress in Lyon and this hotel was right next door - very convenient and yet a nice quiet location. There are bicycles to rent right outside and Parc de la Tête d'Or is across the road. On the tram,bus route - 10 minutes to town, opposite lovely park. Good hot water, comfortable bed and room to move in the unit. Good air conditioning. Plenty of hanging space. It's an exellent hotel. The room was cleen and have minimalistic design. The view from the window is on the park. Staff is very friendly and can help us in every way. very clean and comfortable place to stay! Great location, next to a park, kitchen is big, and you can cook there if you'd like :). Stuff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Bus station with 3 different lines just next to the hotel. There're many kitchen equipment for cooking. The hotel stay near convention centre of lyon. Size of room and bathroom was magnificent after tiny rooms and miniscule showers in Paris. Clean and modern perfect for on route stop over with easy parking. Day staff was very helpful. Staff - friendly/helpful. Hard to find something negative but there are no English language channels on the TV (but you are in France) , the internet is too slow for video (but it is free) and there is no iron in the room (but there is a laundry on the first floor). No hair dryer. The rooms on the Mall side have the light from the Mall on all night, keeping the room light. Parc side rooms are the best. No instructions for anything. Had to request toaster and iron, no washing up liquid or cloth as they expect you to only use the dishwasher. No facilities for any shopping in the vicinity. Door to room was left unlocked by cleaning staff one day. Luckily nothing was missing. Room did not get serviced one day so needed clean towels etc. Parking was fine but not so easy to find. Far from city center. Not enough staff on reception and being self catering there was nowhere to buy provisions. The entrance, and the loby, are difficult to find from the street level. Segregated from the city. wifi is slow in the room. Hard to find by car, went round the roads a few times, then went in wrong hotel close to it. Location. To far from everything. Staff are less friendly. For the reason I stayed there all good. Hard bed. The bed was hard as a rock; we've never before seen a mattress ANYWHERE where there was absolutely NO give in the mattress. The sofabed had a big dip in the center, so that was uncomfortable, as well. Cleaning staff left a different number of towels every day; sometimes there were not enough. A modern day barbican centre type development few cafe and bars nearby but expensive as for the development lacks any french atmosphere. There were only 9 hair dryers for the entire hotel; of course none were ever available. The breakfast was a buffet, very over priced and fair at best. There were no instructions in the room about how to call the front desk (it was not 0) or how to call for a wake up call. The hot tub cast 20 Euros for 30 minutes!! Night staff was terrible. Limited evening facilities.
