  Hotel Langlois was so much better than we hoped. First time to Paris and had read a lot of feedback about small rooms, uncomfortable, hot, noisy rooms. Hotel Langlois was completely the opposite and everything we had hoped for ... Very comfortable, quiet, airconditioned, perfectly positioned for both attractions, cafe's and restaurants. Also Gare St Lazare was not far away ... and to arrive at Hotel Langlois - we walked with - The hotel is situated close to 2 metro stations, and close to Montmartre. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel

  I was very luck to be on the top floor with a view on the Madeleine so it was very pleasant and quiet for a busy part of Paris. The hotel is located near a few metro lines and even better close to Gare St Lazare which is ideal for travel. Variety of restaurants nearby, budget and expensive ones. Friendly staff at the reception. - Very friendly staff. Excellent location: the hotel is in a nice area. Main attractions is in within walking distance (10-45 minutes), or you can use subway (5 lines are next to hotel). Rooms have normal sizes for a comfortable staying. Soundproofing (there was some trafic noise from the street, but no noise from neighbors).
