  The host is very helpful and available. She prepares a delicious breakfast with home made products. As it is taken at a common table ( in the garden, lovely! ) you get to meet and chat with the other guests. The room is very spacious. The location is beautiful. - Wonderful welcome in a marvelous setting.   The village was lovely and the layout of the hotel was interesting and unique (e.g., the "rooftop" pool). But the best part was the staff. When we learned upon arrival that dinner wasn't going to be served at the hotel that night, we thought we'd have to drive in to Saintes in order to get a meal, which we didn't really want to do because we'd bee... mitä ihmiset sanovat » n on the road all day. We were surprised a little later when a young hotel employee, who I got the impression wasn't originally scheduled to work that - The tiny village is charming, and the staff are like family! Flo is a wonderful cook. Her husband is the architect who restored the building and what he's done is impressive. The pool area is gorgeous and overlooks the church. Their son Charles runs reception and couldn't be sweeter.
