Loreta Hotel was everything we hoped for; the location was perfect; away
from the hustle bustle and noise yet walking distance to all the sights
in a lovely area. Our room was large and charming, bathroom had a
wonderful shower. On arrival we found Czech chocolates on clean soft
towels. Breakfast was good with variety of Czech pastries and the
breakfast room was very romantic; lit candles and pretty decoration.

Staff was nice. Bed comfy. Room was large with large bathroom. Location was near the castle. And because it was up the hill, it was quiet (except when the men started weed-wacking at 7 am on Sat). We got lots of exercise walking up the hill instead of taking the bus (wore off the good Prague beer). Enjoyed Karlstejn's castle, too, and the Plzen Urquell beer tour. Check the English tour times before you go. We struggled with the German :-)

Location is in quite place, very near to Vysehrad Cathedral - good place for quiet walk last day before departure. 35 min by walk to the Charles Bridge, if you don;t like trams and metro. He told us where to find the local restaurant, bar and shops. The area is very safe to walk round at night which we liked as the apartment is next to the park. Everything! The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.

The service was very good: Denis and Tatyana were wonderful hosts, attentive and responsive to requests. The view from the room was very nice, and the wifi worked well. It is quiet and clean. In a sense, I liked the location, because for most people it was a short walk to the metro (C line). My parents were too old to do this walk, however. -
