Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent
English and go out of their way to help you.
Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out.
The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

The staff were excellent and really helpful - all English speaking which is so helpful as it is difficult in this city to find many English speaking people to help you Hostel very friendly and relaxed and plenty of Chinese travelling students who are keen to speak with you and go out and eat with youI liked the area the hostel was in -

The staff were very helpful and very eager to help. They also spoke good English. The hostel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Free food was provided for 2 nights that I stopped there which is also a bonus. It was quite well located to a metro station which was about a 5-10 minute walk away. -

It is just next to the Dongxi Station exit for line 5 & line 6.
A supermarket nearby, and walk a bit to the lane, you can find some nice restaurant to have cheap local Beijing Food.
Safe even I was back from HuTong around 11.30pm.
Staff are nice to offer help, as I was depart on a rainy day, with materials I have to protect for client meeting. They offered me a big plastic bag to protect my stuff.
