The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. We only stayed at this hotel for only a few hours (arrived late and had to take an early flight the next morning) for a flight connection. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed

Stayed 2 nights in May but unfortunately it rained most of the time, but
we didn't let that spoil our stay too much! The view from the suite
is breathtaking over looking the inlet. The beaches are close by but you
need a daily park pass of $19.60 for a family, however the owners
provide you with an annual pass for your stay which we didn't
