  Hastings House is a wonderful setting and beautiful historic site... very picturesgue and well located close to Ganges Harbour and the services provided there. - 1/view of grounds and harbor from patio was fabulous. 2/close proximity to town was nice. 3/architecture & overall landscaping were superb.

  The welcome was friendly and relaxed (though anyone with an allergy to cats should be aware of Rita, the Inn cat who sleeps on the reception counter) and staff were helpful - eg. about storing luggage on the day of leaving. We particularly appreciated the Memory Foam-topped mattress, since we often find in accommodation elsewhere that beds are un... mitä ihmiset sanovat » comfortably firm. Food (paid separately) was very good - particularly breakfast pancakes, enjoyed on the lovely deck, decorated with lots of flower-b - We loved the stay. The manager is so friendly and nice and the restaurant was inexpensive and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and it was right there in the village of Ganges which is full of fun stores full of Art. Salt Spring Island has so many wonderful artists. We also loved Rita the cat who welcomed us at the reception desk. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

  The room in which we stayed was large with a generous terrace and a beautiful vantage point over the harbour. The French doors allowed us to fully enjoy the view and provided easy access to the outside. The staff were very friendly and informative. The salads and vegetables served in the dining room are grown on the hotel's own 3 acre organic gar... mitä ihmiset sanovat » den, which is open for visitors to walk through. - We enjoyed our stay at the hotel Pleasant staff, clean rooms wonderful view of the harbour, the valuted ceilings and large patio (we had a wonderful sunny weekend which added a little space to the regular hotel room. The furnture is a little out dated but that is in keeping the with the island zen ways Wondeful food .. bonus that it was in the hotel!
