  We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and water kettle in the kitchenette, just perfect for traveling with children. Lovely view out to The Empress Hotel, downtown and some water views. Staff was gracious and helpful. The pool area was also nice. Wish we had had more time to swim, but water is deep (5-9 ft).   I was staying at the Inn at Laurel Point because of its convenient location. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the start line of the Victoria Marathon near the legislative buildings. The staff were very attentive and friendly throughout my whole stay. This included the front desk, cleaning staff, maintenance personnel and restaurant servers. I - The location was fantastic . We stayed in room 452,the new part of the hotel and the view of the marina from our balcony was amazing. The hotel is also close to the centre of Victoria. The room was large and the housekeeping was excellent. Staff were friendly,polite and helpful at all times. We had a nice lunch at Auroa restaurant which was reasonably priced,which included several coffee refills . Overall we had a very pleasant stay

And it was...really clean and newly renovated, great design, very comfortable, wonderful view, and it was my fault that I didn't use the lounge for my complimentary continental breakfast!   Our stay at Beach Acres forest cottage was quiet and relaxing. Beds cozy and kitchen well supplied with everything we needed. Fireplace made it cozy and romantic. The opportunity to have a fire on the beach in the evening as well as the close proximity to nature walks made this a perfect setting for what we needed. We will definately return. We enjoyed our stay at beach acers so much it was sad to leave :( the whole resort was great! We'd Highly recommend it to all! We would defiantly book to stay here again.
