  We stayed at Abigail’s for three nights July 16-18 2013 after reading the many positive online reviews – all of which are well deserved. Abigail’s Hotel is a small boutique bed and breakfast hotel, located on a cul-de-sac in a very nice residential area of downtown Victoria and close to the attractions of the Inner Harbour. The free parking, behind the hotel - This was, by far, our best place we stayed during our 11-day honeymoon. The staff was so welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, as well as the evening hors d'oeuvres. We enjoyed relaxing in the library lounge room, and visiting with the other guests. In the room, the fireplace was a nice touch. Also, the sound machine on the bedside table played some soothing music that we enjoyed. We have already told many of our family and friends that Abigail's is the only place to book in the future.

  One of the highlights of our trip. The house is incredible, the rooms were extremely comfortable, the hosts were outstanding, and the breakfasts were to die for. Warren and Gary were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and their breakfasts were truly memorable (though at least one day it left me wanting to go back to bed for a nap!) The location is great too - on a quiet residential stree - Where do we start, it was an over the to experience. Loved the atmosphere, the wonderful personalities of Gary and Warren, particularly loved Mindy, just all around loved our time there, like being in a Country Cottage, only complaint was the people to the side of us the last night, very noisy throughout the night but then, that is not a big deal.   My husband and I stayed for two nights in one of the newly remodeled fourth floor rooms. Very nicely done with keeping the old Hume hotel design yet quiet, comfortable and climate controlled. Always enjoy the complimentary breakfast and the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I stayed on the 4th floor where the hotel has newly renovated the Room. The room was really good (brand new) and the bed was perfect to sleep on. The restaurant was nice and Breakfast was also good.
