Décor is amazing and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! I have stayed here before so I was more than eager to bring my girlfriend here on our roadtrip to Alaska. Also we arrived at 3 a.m. so, to our surprise, they extended our check-out to 2 p.m. so we could enjoy the room!. The rooms are clean and very inviting....I stayed in a king suite and it was more than worth the small upgrade price. The staff was very helpful. The rockford(onsite restaurant) is top notch.
kaikki arvostelut » It was finally a clean modern new location that our business appreciated. Most of you hotels have been removed from our "recommended" list due to a run down state and appearance. Very clean rooms. Bathroom fan was adequately sized to keep steam and moisture down. Great use of LED and CFL energy efficient lighting. Bed was very comfortable. Our suite was very nicely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. The food at the Rockfood was excellent - we really enjoyed the fish tacos!. That Prince George finally has a hotel it can be proud of. We had a King Suite and it was outstanding. Will definitely stay again. Very clean and fairly new hotel. The rooms are spacious even if you stay with more people space doesn't seem to be an issue. I love the lobby area, looks very inviting and relaxing. Very stylish!! Pictures in the rooms were nice as well. The room was excellant and very comfortable with easy access to the highway. Facility and Staff were excellent. Very pleasant surprise in Prince George. Free Internet, courtesy of staff, the smiles, pet friendly, quietness. The location was good and the staff friendly and efficient. Modern hotel everything worked well. We liked the comfortable beds. the kitchenette, room service. It was a nice stay. Location. clean. When we first got our room, it was dirty. A quick trip to the front desk cleared it up quickly and a new room was issued. Parking was inadequate at times, especially with the number of guests driving pickup trucks. No fly-screens on the windows and plenty of flies found their way in. Don't go to the hotel's restaurant if you want a quick breakfast or dinner. Our only complaint was that pillows were too thick!. The desk staff were all trainees and stumbling around without supervision. There is a sign saying there is a Chops restaurant and it isn't there. The seats in the restaurant that is their are cheap and splitting apart already. Just one place for the elevator. It is a little uncomfortable, specially if you are in the furthest room in the last floor and with lots of luggage. Did not care for the bathroom.....it had some issues. We had Room 218, and the door would not close, unless you physically put your weight into it, and then it was hard to open. Also, the shower water leaks out onto the floor...not sure why, but you can tell the baseboards are already peeling, probably from this. The mat was dripping wet when my husband was done in the shower. The bed was comfortable, but the pillow too big...then I saw another one in the closet the next morning. Parking was very tight, especially for trucks, no service outlets for engine block heater equipped vehicles (winter). pool was a bit shallow. at 6 am some sort of construction started right out my window, very noisy. room was very warm even with AC turned wayyyy down. Not having wireless internet was a bummer. Bed too soft. Terribly squeaky door hinges. Some lights didn't work and were not fixed during our 4 night stay. Tv was unwatchable due to noisy static, also not acknowledged or repaired. A direct email covering these and other complaints was never answered. The room was in need of a deep cleaning...it was surface clean but it is time for more. The colour scheme in the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Room could have been cleaned better especially area under window drapes. Close to highway so somewhat noisy and also noisy bathroom fan and vibrations coming from somewhere. We were disappointed that the pool was not operational & were not informed upon booking. It would be nice to have a continental breakfast or breakfast deal offered. the pool was shut down. Who ever the contractor was that built the place should not have been payed ; poor construction. Tacky finishing. The service from the front desk staff was not up to par at all not impressed at all. Loud kids next door. far away from airport. I've left message to ask if the hotel had airport pick-up service, but no response. not just faults from hotel, also faults from booking.so dispointed.
