  I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. I wasn't keen on my original room as was a bit stuffy but reception offered me an alternativ - We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria.

On our first night there was a problem with the hot water not being very hot and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was quickly fixed.   We stayed at Abigail’s for three nights July 16-18 2013 after reading the many positive online reviews – all of which are well deserved. Abigail’s Hotel is a small boutique bed and breakfast hotel, located on a cul-de-sac in a very nice residential area of downtown Victoria and close to the attractions of the Inner Harbour. The free parking, behind the hotel - This was, by far, our best place we stayed during our 11-day honeymoon. The staff was so welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, as well as the evening hors d'oeuvres. We enjoyed relaxing in the library lounge room, and visiting with the other guests. In the room, the fireplace was a nice touch. Also, the sound machine on the bedside table played some soothing music that we enjoyed. We have already told many of our family and friends that Abigail's is the only place to book in the future.

  Staff was very friendly. Met what we though was the maintenance/housekeeper when i asked for help with luggage as my wife had handsful with kids. But found out from the desk agent that it was the manager. I have never seen a manager work all day and night and he made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we had an excellent stay. Rooms were good for a budget hotel we can't expect - I like on how the price of the room is cheaper compare to the hotel near it. The bed is really big that it can fit for 3 people/bed.
