We felt very accomodated. We liked the fact that we were given the choice of reusing our towels and bedding...such a waste of time and resources to do otherwise. We had a number of questions/requests after the first day of our stay and they were taken care of immediately. Thank you for helping to make our stay so enjoyable! Mark and Sue Wilson. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and made the trip that much more enjoyable and relaxing. Even though at first I was concerned as our rooms weren't ready the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made any such problem disappear.
kaikki arvostelut » I thought the price was right. We enjoyed Charlottetown for 2 days before heading up west to Waterford. Sometimes its difficult to find a place during summer holidays that is within your budget. We were pleased,. The room was beautiful and updated, it was a huge surprise considering the price, I stayed in the drive up budget room. Bathroom was great and a good shower, location was perfect, minutes from everything. The room was very nice . The loft suite is a great choice for families. The pool was nice and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast that was included. It's close to everything you can want and need. We enjoyed the pool with waterslide and the complimentary breakfast was a real plus for us, eliminating one more thing to have to worry about at the beginning of our busy days exploring PEI. Service and attention to issues was excellent. Breakfast buffet was good and satisfying. Hotel has been recently renovated with new beds - comfortable. Isaac at the front desk was very helpful in directing us to an off- leash dog park and getting a good restaurant reservation. Breakfasts were excellent. Very beautiful, well located Facility that offered full amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff and free continental breakfast with variety. Loved the clean room, comfortable beds and the Hot Tub! That was great after a stressful day of travel. The free breakfast was also great!. The complimentary breakfast buffet was first class, and I regret not trying out their indoor swimming pool. Walking distance to UPEI. Had an excellent experience friendly staff. Our room was spacious queen room and the bed was so comfortable. Loved our stay. Pool facilities, breakfast included, fresh look for an older hotel, comfortable beds, lots of pillows. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, very good selection. Swimming pool and hot tub very good. The requested rooms weren't ready despite arriving after the opening of registration (3 pm, we arrived at 3:30). Can't rent movies, still has cable, but no movies, parking filled up quickly. The gym should have frosted windows. The pullout couched need new mattresses. The room was freezing when we walked in. There was an event being held at the hotel so there was no parking available. We had to park in a snow bank. The hot tub was not always clean. Only choice first night was a noisy room (interior and exterior traffic and next to ice machine) and no hot water at bathroom sink (discovered in the morning). Second night was a definite improvement after having been relocated. Closet door on runner was stuck/jammed. We reported the problem but it was not fixed during our two-night stay. Also recurring problems with Internet access. Just a suggestion: full length mirrors should NEVER be on the INSIDE of a bathroom door!. Nothing. Nothing. we loved everything. Recycle bins not provided in room. I thought the room rate was a bit high, all things considered. Noisy elevator. - upstairs loft was very warm and it was difficult to sleep - T.V. upstairs did not work, so we were unable to relax in the evening to watch tv. Hot tub is in poor shape, should be replaced. It would be nice if the restaurant was open for lunch and dinner and the bar later than 9pm. We would of enjoyed a meal there since we don't have a car. Rooms were dusty but other than that very clean!. I didn't like getting home to find out my visa bill had been overcharged by 240.00. Can't think of a thing. Carpet on stairway to second floor in main lobby were VERY dirty and as such...did NOT set a standard of overall cleanliness within the facility.... Only one mirror located in bathroom. Could use one in main room. Really didn't like that drapes do not close as wé could see people in the pool so Im sûre they could see us. Also lights kept area bright all night when trying to sleep. Only sheers over patio door which wasnt locked when wé entered room. Not all staff bothered to say hello. I didn't like the fact that I had a paper from letsbookhotel.com saying that I booked the room for $109 and the Rodd Royalty tried to charge me $139. Lucky I had my confirmation with me. Room too warm. Had some trouble controlling temperature. boring breakfast that seemed overcooked. Heater very noisy. Small rooms T V poor working condition. Low lighting. Light in bathroom not working. They changed our room second night. To our surprise no bathtub. Too expensive for value. I believe the price per night was much too high. Having to walk in the rain to get to the restaurant!. Noise level. Room windows are facing the hall so blinds had to stay closed and it was dark in the room, also the pool was too shallow for the slide. Stairs at front entrance. Made entry with luggage difficult. We were booked into a room too small for our number of guests and had to move for our second night. The hotel has been updated but you can still tell that it is an older building in places. The bathrooms in the motel section were still old and patched up. The age of the building was still evident even with the updates. The breakfast was good but a bit hectic. Small spaces, only one elevator. Had a major leak from ceiling vent into bathroom, needed to move from room. Breakfast area crowded , not set up well to accommodate a lot of people. Noise, room door not soundproof at all.... could hear everything that was happening in the corridor. Customer not very respectful of others' comfort in the middle of the night... Staff , location, cost, small room for price. Very little consideration for us. No cork screw. We called front desk and clerk said the last oe was given to a patron and never returned Could have made a trip to walmart. Instead my husband pushed the cork in with the aid of a clothes hanger. Wine in room a ridiculous price. It was a very noisy hotel. Walls thin. Moncton was awesome. Pictures show renovated rooms and they are but your seperate from hotel in old out buildings. Priced way too high. New hotel next door Canada's best value half the price. No evening meals. Obviously surprised by white cottage appearance instead of main building. I felt tricked. no elevator to room, no bus person to help, view of building wall. The photo shows a modern hotel whereas we ended up in a shack on the side of the property. Is this what its called a bait and switch?. A bit old Bathroom needs update Air conditioning did not work very well. It was still warm in the room even if it was at high. Don't think I would stay there again.
