  I really enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very helpful. My family does not speak portuguese (I do it), so the staff spoke in spanish with them. We came early the day of the check-in, however since the bedroom was without people, they let us do the check in before the hour. Some people say that the room was small but we stayed at the 3 peop - The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The room we had was just the right size for 2 people and bathroom is in excellent condition. Despite speaking limited English, staff are helpful. Around the corner is a burger place and across the road is a juice place and also, a really nice sandwich bar and restaurant. About 10 minutes walk to Copacabana beach.

  This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach). Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.   Cleaners never minded cleaning your room very late in the day; and the reception staff were helpful from start to finish. Nice rooms, no complaints at all really. - Location in Ipanema close to the beach, the shopping and the lagoa was perfect! Small room but perfect for one solo traveller.
