place has a very high score - but I agree with the majority. The owner,
Michel, has set up the place with a simple and elegant balance between
medieval & contemporary - very nice . . . and very clean!

I found my bed was more comfortable than usual in European hotels.
The breakfast was fresh & tasty with a couple of unique elements.

This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest. terrific host, he really cares about the comfort of his guests. The room
was spacious and quaint, lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was
phenomenal. Don't miss this if you are in Leuven. -

Stylish, clean, quiet and perfectly located close to the hottest spot in Leuven. The landlady is lovely and breakfast fresh and delicious. My room was very spacious and with a huge bow-window. Bed was big and very comfortable. Wi-fi is excellent. Complimentary bathroom items were above average and free coffee and water and amaretto biscuit were provided.

Ik vond het een super hotel. Het ligt direct achter het station, is alleen wat lastig te vinden op de tomtom dus laat je goed informeren hoe er te komen. Verder een mooi hotel met design lobby. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Wij kwamen later in de middag aan maar er stond zo een extra bed klaar. En de matrassen sliepen erg fijn en dat hoor je mij niet snel zeggen want ik ben daar meer dan kritisch over. Ik kom zeker terug.

Excellent business hotel, and just on the outskirts of Leuven for the City visitor. Staff are first class. The bed is among the most comfortable I have ever slept in, in a hotel. Rooms spotless, WiFi is excellent and always works. No complaints about this hotel. In fact it is so good I have arranged for all my travel to Belgium to be based there.

Very helpful personnel.
Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room.
The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. In the night it gave a reliable 2/0.2 Mbit/s connection and sometimes even better.

The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route
