We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our travels through Europe. It was one of the newest and cleanest.
