The location is awesome, it takes about 20 minutes by foot to the city center, while you can choose the city streets or the cliffs, both w/ a pretty view from them, public transport is also available and the closest bus stop is only 2 minutes away. The One-Bedroom Apartment with Small Kitchen has everything you need for a stay of any term. The host, Frau Wirrer, is pretty welcoming.
Just 15 minutes walk from city centre. Few fast food restaurants and Indian restaurant in 100m. Apartment was big enough for us (couple with 1,5 year old child). It is not newly renovated but it is clean and more then enough as we used only for sleeping.kaikki arvostelut »
The location is very good only about 20 mins walk to city centre along the river. Whist the street can be busy the rooms are quiet and comfortable the 2 (bed)room apartment has plenty of space for families.
The staffs are very helpful. Also, it is a good place for the group of friend or family to spend on the holidays. It is not very far from the central.
The apartment was great. Even though it was on a busy street, it was quiet. The bed was comfy. This would be perfect for a family or several couples.

For the budget price it is reasonable distance to the Old Town by
walking along the river . We found the street map by accident . There
was no information about where or when garbage was to be placed . We had
no information where the local supermarket is and we carried shopping
from a long way before we discovered the local Billa around the corner.
It was (luckily) first floor apartment, quite all right for a mature copule after a days long walks. Just 1 bus stop from the Salzach river bank on the way to the central station and the fantatic Salzburg Old Town.
Basic accomodation everything you require for short stay good location would stay again.

The apartments were good in that the walk to the town center was a
reasonable distance.

The only shortcomings are the lack of internet access in the apartment and no possibility to smoke anywhere inside the building. The two beds in a One-Bedroom Apartment with Small Kitchen are also not quite suitable for a couple, while there's a sofa in the other room.
The driveway is difficult to get into and very narrow so be aware if you have a large car.
We didn't like that that there was no internet available. It was also confusing with no reception desk or anyone to talk to about where to go in the area. The parking situation isn't easy - it's a very narrow entry and hard to access. We often had to park a block away (paid parking during the week) and haul our bags. If you're on a higher floor be prepared to carry your luggage because there is no elevator.
No wifi ,squeaky floorboards, surrounding area not very nice.
The apartment overlooked a main road , a main trolley bus route and
was very noisy when the windows are open. Although I continually
locked the outside main door and all the doors up to our apartment the
front door was always unlocked upon our return as too the joint front
door to our flat .
Although fantastic location for the centre, the apartment wasn't very clean, with lots of outdated pots and pans, cutlery and furniture. It is definitely in need of some modernisation,.

Pillows were too soft. Laminate floor very squeaky.
No internet, or English TV channels. Suggest starting a book exchange.
TRAFFIC on their road - know there is nothing they could do about that. Also the parking - very limited and a very narrow drive that you could only turn into from one direction. Also no air conditioning.

The location is noisy and uncomfertable.
The apartment was much smaller than expected, towels smelled like
mildew, and the owner charged a 20 Euro cleaning fee as a standard
charge for the apartment, even though it is not indicated on the
letsbookhotel.com site.
No information about laundry facilities until final day. Lights in second bedroom out. Oven did not work. Towels that were supplied were old and shabby.
Car entrance - State of taps and shower head - Drop down Bed from wall not fit for purpose ie good nights sleep - poor quality kitchenette and shelving - Over all almost everything.
