We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

The place was very clean (which is very important for us) and comfortable. the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. The products in the rooms (shampoo, toilet paper, towels..) were in a very good quality. A charming and tasting place. We can see that the owners thought of the little details. Perfect place for a couple holyday in Salzburg.

The appartment is very comfortable, well furnished and clean( they do charge €50 cleaning fee).We had number 912, with access to a terrace. The view was towards Alps / river and part of Downtown .
Laundromat on premises is a plus. Safe parking underground(€10/day extra). Mr Forisch is very efficient at addressing issues.
