  Having been to Sydney several times staying at different hotels each time (4 or 5 stars),we always break up our stays with two hotels for variety. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney. We managed to get the room at a reasonable rate and took advantage of this. The - loved the location perfect for access to see the Opera Carmen at Mrs Macquaire :Point. Loved being able to walk through Royal Botanical Gardens (had a picnic) and easy acces to shopping with the free green bus just up the road. Our view from 2218 was excellent - we were really thrilled. Big thanks to the Conceirges who made our requests for massages and restaurants easy.   It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful. I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected.   A great place to stay, The Harbour View Room was fantastic we were there for the Aust. Navy Fleet Review and did not need to leave the room to watch the fireworks and events. The staff were friendly and helpful. It seemed like our room was serviced every time we left it. We loved our stay. I recommend a harbour-view room suite. Caught the train from the airport the Circular Quay not cheap bu - We had obtained a smartdeal for the Four Season for our last trip to Sydney. Apart from the value for money, the hotel was in a great location for a city visit to Sydney, pleasant staff, very comfy room, excellent house-keeping, L'occtaine toiletries and we took advantage of the gym and outdoor heated pool too. Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

If you fany a splurg, stay a couple of nights, it's lovely. I had a standard room this time on the city side, but last time I was lucky enough to get a deluxe suite over two levels that was sublime.

  We stayed ( 3 girls) in a studio apartment which was basic but clean,spacious,fully equipped with a nice veranda for smoking.Great Central Bondi area walking to the beach,punbs,coffee shops and parties.Very good rate for bondi- we had weekly rate.A lot of your persons in the complex.Nice roof top pool.we will be back in beautiful Bondi next Year!!!

  Location was a very short walk to the beautiful Bondi beach - two grocery stores a few shops away- stocked our wonderful new kitchen. Spotless - large comfy bed and pull out was great as well for our daughter - room dividers pulled to make two rooms. Everything was top rate. Very happy there. However only a 5min walk to Bondi beach and cafes. The 1st night we stayed the people in the neighbouring apartment were very noisy. The staff were brilliant about and the next night moved us and upgraded us for free.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. On arrival we were greeted by helpful, professional reception staff and the two requests we had made when booking were met. Thank you. Our room was clean, spacious and relaxing. The staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early. We have since travelled to a new hotel in Melbourne & really notice the difference in their assistance compared to the Grace Hotel.   Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around. Staff were very lovely and helpful.
