Beach Manor is like staying at home... but more luxurious! The staff are very friendly and the facilities are fantastic. We stayed in the French Seaview Room, which had lush red carpeting, hand blown chandelier from Tunisia, and a beautiful 4-poster bed with red bed linen. Just a hop, skip and jump across the road and you're right on the beach! And if the beach is looking a bit choppy, a dip in the beautiful pool at the Manor might be just what you need! Being so close to the beach and restaurants was perfect. The beach and sea are glorious and there are many really well developed local facilities for exercise and exploring. Nothing about Beach Manor itself, unfortunately letsbookhotel.com have the wrong room information linked to the pictures and apparently this is an on-going problem. The staff at Beach Manor however went out of their way to correct the problem and even gave us a free bottle of wine to apologise for an error that wasn't their making. The Indian Ocean Suite was magnificent, and the pool area is wonderful. Also, to whoever bakes the complimentary muffins - they are wonderful! Free wi-fi is great. We liked the eclectic mix of furnishings and the 70s vibe of the place. A beautiful property. It was an excellent experience and I would definitely come here again. I loved the atmosphere, the staff was exceptional, great facilities and very clean. The hotel is across the road from the beach and close to some nice cafes/restaurants. The moment we got there Mimi the manager made us feel at home. The whole place has a feeling of peace and tranquility about it. The breakfast is plentiful,hot and delicious. Tea and coffee when you want it. Ocean views.Beautiful beach. Everything was practically perfect. The only thing that might improve the experience is adding mini moisturizers and shampoos and conditioners. Not a major issue though as there is a coles in easy walking distance. Absolutely loved the place! The staff were friendly, the view was stunning and the room was gorgeous and extremely comfy. Breakfast was delicious and the whole manor was just beautiful. The b&b was lovely- clean and relaxing. The staff were great. It was fantastic being so close to the beach. We didn't use the pool but it was gorgeous. Hot breakfast served before 8:30am to allow visitors to get on with their day of sightseeing would be better. The location is great if you just want to relax a few days near the beach. The hotel is right across the beach and close to some great cafes/restaurants, so awesome location! If you need to travel to Perth CBD every day, then be prepared for a longer bus/ train trip.I think it was more than 45min on the bus, train is a bit faster I was told. Peak hour traffic can also be pretty bad. The entry to the property to get to reception and rooms. We stayed in the French Boudoir room-the use of space in the room was very clever but at times it felt a little claustrophobic and cramped. Scarborough was very nice but don't expect lots of choice for eating out etc. We didn't have a car so were quite limited. Away too much from services (es banks to change money and agencies for excursions) but if you rent a car no problem at all!. the air con didn't seem to work and the bathroom was a bit make shift. The room was slightly small with no desk. nothing. Having to leave so early. Cooked breakfast served too late 8:30am? Wifi didn't work in the rooms but did at the poolside. Nothing. Young staff (in transit) poor breakfast made by kids not able to cope with a rush of people at once. Minimal cleaning of rooms. Rusty and dilapidated chairs and tables on upstairs balcony. Poor parking for number of Guests.
