We enjoyed a relaxing week in a beautifully 2 bedroom apartment. (All apartments have been renovated excellent shower and very comfortable beds) Difficult to fault any aspect of our stay. The owners are very friendly and would do anything to help,(Family Business) the location is excellent close to everything. We will be back for another getaway in the near future and would highly recommend Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge to family and friends. 10/10.
kaikki arvostelut » Kay,Peter and Michael were very friendly and helpful.We were scheduled to stay 3 nights ,but had to extend our stay by 2 more days ,as we were "trapped ' there due to the roads north and south being flooded following the aftermath of Cyclone Oswald. They kept us up to date with reports on road closures etc and local information. Excellent accommodation for good value and wifi included at no extra cost. Henry & Karen Doyle from the uk. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Peter, the host very friendly and helpful. As a cleanliness freak this accommodation was comfortable, and sooooooo clean, would stay there again in a heartbeat!! well done them!!!!! great value for money,cant wait till Peter and partner have finished their renovations. WILL BE BACK. ...P.S what on earth do they clean their oven with, it sparkles!!!!. just enjoyed,an 8 night stay,at this hotel & thoroughly enjoyed it.the management,could not be nicer.they were extrememly helpful & nothing was too much trouble.our 2 bedroom apartment,was spotless & had all the amenities,that we required,during our stay.i was impressed with the apartment,for the price we paid & would definitely stay here again. Peter gave us a very warm welcome even after hours. He loves his job and does it very well. Plenty of room in the apartment which is well equipped (oven, microwave oven, cooktops, aircon for each room), impeccable and quiet. Very close to the beach (walkind distance), 10 min by car from the marina and 5 min from Woolworths and Coles. Free parking. Everything was just perfect, we had a wonderful stay. When we went to Fraser Island for the night, we were allowed to leave the car at the hotel which was great. I can only highly recommend this place, very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, just minutes walk from the beach!. I found the Colonial to be exceptionally clean and tidy. All the fixtures and fittings were top quality. The lounge had a reclining chair and very comfortable sofa. Lovely bedrooms and bathroom. To top it off, the staff were super friendly and helpful, too. We travelled all day from Airlie Beach and were too tired to go out to eat. Bought a few things and made a lovely meal in our room with all the equipment each room has in the kitchen. Staff very helpful and friendly. Shall stay longer next time. The closeness to the Esplanade and Beach. Easy driving distance to shops, cafes, RSL and Boat Clubs. The very helpful and friendly owners, the clean and spacious rooms and the pool area across from our unit, well maintained and clean. Great accommodation with lovely owners who were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, very clean and comfortable and location was excellent. Would stay again and highly recommend. :). The friendliness and attention to detail by staff who attended to the groups needs. They were prepared to offer suggestions and assistance re bus connection and parking of our vehicles. Well done!. The beds were firm, not worn out. It is clean, comfortable and reception was very welcoming and helpful. Not too far from airport and a block away from Torquay Beach. My parents and I stayed at the Colonial Lodge recently. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was excellent, large clean and very comfortable, Thank You. We will be back!. It was the little things like salt & pepper, cooking oil, cling film, paper towel etc. Everything, it was a great week end at the Harvey Bay Coloinal Lodge. Would most defently recommend this place. There isn't one thing I didn't like. I will stay there again every time I'm in the area. Nothing to dislike. The TV sound seemed to echo at times and sometimes hard to hear clearly the vocab unless sound turned up high. Apparently another unit found the same. Nothing that really needed drawing attention to. Everything met or exceeded our needs. nothing. If you don't have a car it is not near any shops except a corner convenience store. A lovely café restaurant though just a block away. Nothing. No complaints. Limited parking but on street available close to rooms. No complaints. Doesn't apply!. Nothing. Location, great for beach, long walk to restaurants taxi to greyhound expensive far from rivers head ferry. They were booked up and we couldn't stay extra nights!:). Nothing at all.
