Situated opposite Gold Coast Airport, this refurbished 1950s motel offers free Wi-Fi, 24-hour check-in and a free airport shuttle. The beautiful Bilinga Beach is only 100 metres away. These air-conditioned studios feature their original polished wooden floorboards and offer a flat-screen TV, DVD player, microwave, wardrobe and seating area. Kirra Beach and Coolangatta Beach are both 10 minutes’ walk from La Costa Motel Bilinga. It is 20 km to Surfers Paradise and 40 km to the Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World and Dreamworld theme parks. Guests have free use of vintage bikes and beach towels. The motel’s front desk books theme park tickets, public transport tickets and has a DVD library.

Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. They just had the upper level renovated. Simply love it. Diane was very kind, helpful and friendly. She made us feel like home. Pick us from the airport, intro us around, recommending places we can hang out. She even offer to send us back to the airport eventhough they are only opened later that day. Thank you so much .
kaikki arvostelut » A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! Otherwise, lovely hotel, would love to come and stay there for a quiet summer beach break! We stayed at La Costa several times already, and service and comfort have always been. Close to airport, but also close to beach. Quiet though. Tbh I was disappointed when I arrived and saw it from outside. But it so modern, fresh and clean. All the conveniences. Bathroom is tiny but perfect and brandnew. Flat screen and dvd player. Diane will even supply a few dvds. Everything tou would expect plus a little bit more. If you need a pick up or drop off at airport its free!. We very much liked how you have renovated in the 50's style. The fittings and bedding were excellent and showed flair. We also liked the personal contact and the service to the airport. We will not hesitate to recommend your motel to any of our friends and family who want to stay close to the airport and the beaches. Very nice. The owners are absolutely outstanding!!! They are so accommodating and welcoming even if you are just staying the night. They are very prompt with their airport transfers as well making sure you are on time. Best place I have ever stayed at in Canada and Australia by far. My room was perfect. Location is great, close to beach and airport, and the hosts were as good as it gets - they came and picked us up when we were dropped off at the wrong location, and were happy to deliver us back to the airport at the end of our stay. We can recommend this motel, look forward to getting back for a short holiday. The staff was super friendly and bent over backwards to look after my niece who arrived much earlier than I did - a level of service I had never experienced in Australia before. Many thanks to them! The rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It felt more like a holiday villa rather than a motel. The owners were welcoming and helpful, rooms were being renovated but this didn't bother us. The adjacent rooms are not very soundproof which could potentially bother others but we only had one night stopover. Location and price were good and for 3 persons it was a good deal. We will stay here again. We had a fabulous time we were within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, mini store and the shopping centre was only a bus ride away..Diane and her husband were absolutely fabulous owner/management/host made our stay enjoyable,relaxing and most importantly our bed was comfortable :) awesome!. Diane welcomed us most warmly, even by email and kindly dropped us to the airport with her own car. The location is perfect: between beach and airport. The accommodation is tastefully designed, well equipped, looks brand new and more charming than tall concrete buildings around. - very, very friendly and helpful staff (personal drop off to the airport) - 200 m from the beach - very nice and clean room with chance to cook - very close to the airport - if you want to spend a relaxed holiday at the Gold Coast, this hotel is definitely the right one. The room is very clean and well-decorated. There were good facilities in the room. The place is just opposite the Gold Coast airport and very close to a beach. It is also suitable with one who is going to catch an early flight in the morning. The staff is nice and friendly. Welcoming staff, great location near beach, clean and well-designed modern accommodation, proximity to airport - free shuttle offered. We needed to leave at 5.45 am for our flight and a shuttle at this time was no problem to the owners. Would definitely recommend. Loved everything about this accomodation! The look/theme is so cute, staff are friendly and helpful, the location to the airport is literally not even 5 minutes and it is a short drive into Surfers Paradise if thats what you want to do. I would holiday here. The location was fabulous but was blitzed by the incredible service offered. The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. We will not even look at another property when we need accommodation at the Gold Coast. Next time, more time would be great!. Everything. The owners were very helpful. My family were lucky to live in here. There is a gazebo outside of the room. Free wifi could be used. It is also free to pick up you to or from the airport because it is just ten minutes' walk. The owners were wonderful in every way. This property has bee renovated and has a lovely "beachy feeling" to it. It is close to the airport and the owners shuttled us back and forth. Great and easy place to stay. One block from the beach. The owners are just awesome, so accomodating, friendly and interested in the customer. Bathroom was a bit small. - if you want to spend more time in the centre of Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise), this hotel is not optimal because with the bus it is quite a long way to the city centre but if you want to spend a relaxed time at the Gold Coast this hotel is definitely the right one. There are not many restaurants around the place. You may find a bit difficult to find something to eat. If you are planning to go to any other tourist attractive places such as Surfer's Paradise, Movie world, etc. then it will take you an hour or so to get there. Absolutely nothing. We loved our stay at La Costa Motel - many thanks!!. When using the heater or air conditioner the room gets to the temperature very fast due to the size of the room and get too much if not switched off. It was just an overnight stay!. nothing. Nothing. The front steps are a bit steep for entering with heavy suitcases. Nothing. Nothing at all - for the price it is as much value as one could ask for. Wasn't much to dislike, just beware the room is quite bright from 5am onwards. - None. There was nothing i didnt like although my first impression of the exterior was a bit disappointing. The footpaths were difficult with large bags. But i am being a bit picky here. Lack of a laundry was a little inconvenient. Noisy neighbours children at 5 am!.
