I have stayed in 4and 5 star hotels which would not rate as well as South Central. Design, decor and layout were excellent. A bonus also is the rooftop pool. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a larger apartment which would have been wonderful had I been travelling with company. Located just a short walk from South Brisbane Station with transportation direct to Brisbane Airport as well as being close to the Cultural Precinct. I highly recommend.

Would stay again in the second room we were moved to as quieter and darker in front bedroom plus it had individual air co (room 705). It was very central and very clean. It had all the best appliances and had everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Security was excellent. Would recommend anyone to stay there and we would certainly stay there again. Price was very reasonable, . The location was wonderful as we were in Brisbane for the truck show which was only a short walk away. Accommodation was fantastic, clean rooms everything in them. Would recommend South Central to anyone wanting to stay close to the city. I stayed with my brother and liked the layout of the unit, the bedroom placement gave us each privacy which was good as we were there 3 nights. Liked that it was so close to lots of restaurants and Sth Brisbane railway station. Clean, luxury apartment, we felt spoilt straight away. Rooms were big, we loved the view. We liked how close to south bank and the restaurants. We had a great time. Good layout and everything we needed in the apartment. Could walk everywhere from there. Perfect location to city, south bank and Suncorp Stadium. Love Brisbane. Convience of the entire place for our business,easy access afterhours & free parking. security placed a big part for us as well. I was nervous about the printed directions I received upon booking. No need, absolutely seamless. Very impressive. We loved the fact that both bedrooms had en-suites, made a huge difference to four people getting ready to go out. The location was great, we could walk to the rugby league, xxxx brewery and southbank as well as the city. The room was very clean and having the second bathroom is definitely a plus. I really liked the location. Great location, Central Staff were friendly and helpful Rooms are clean and well designed. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, fantastic set-up. Unfortunately, no restaurant or cafe on premises, however, that is a minor point. On a busy intersection and near the train line so if you are a light sleeper this may be a problem. The bedroom near the street ( in room 503 ) really needs block out blinds on all the windows and some heavy drapes would help reduce both light and noise. We had constant problems with the air conditioner however the staff worked hard to fix this and allowed us to move to an other room when they were unable to do so - thank you for your efforts. bar-b-ques were out of order and there was no clothes hoist which was advertised. This was a minor hicup. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a fairly rushed trip & we didn't get to enjoy the apartment as well as we could have had we been there for a holiday. We had a front unit and the front bedroom I found very noisy, particularly from the trains but then I'm from a country town where it is very quiet after about 7pm every night so I'm probably a bit more sensative to noise than the average city person. The lounge in our unit was OK but not very comfortable. Nothing. Building site next door started T 6.30am on Saturday morning!!. construction of another building beside our unit with filings & dust blown into our balcony, no privacy from workers but thats progress & not in the duristriction of South Central. We stayed fri-mon so rooms were not serviced. Not a surprise and if we stayed Monday night would have expected room to be serviced. The second bedroom did not have a ceiling fan, so therefore when the airconditioning unit did not work we found the nights too hot for a good nights sleep. As per most unit complexes, I find the parking tight. I also didn't like the proximity of the smoke detector to the stove. You had to keep the balcony doors open while you cooked which is not ideal in winter. Hard bed. Having to pay for Internet. Nothing really. the internet is payed, very expensive and not good!. Extremely poor quality bed in the main bedroom (mattress needed replacing), leaking air-conditioners (2 units) and rather expensive internet... noisy. Bit of train noise. Traffic noise (work occuring at night). A bit noisy from trains. vinyl peeling off lounges. Pool was freezing. limited on plates/cups couldnt visit friends on other floor hard to find local home delivered food. The traffic noise. Difficulty getting to friend on another floor. Entrance a bit difficult to find to get keys if afterhours. Tv didn't work Shower nozzle in bathroom loose. Tha fact that the microwave turning dish didn't turn. We didnt really get the room type that we expected when we booked last year. We also didnt get enough pool towels to accomadate for all the quest.We thought that rooms would be made up while we were there. The room that we were placed in had a constuction site directly in front and the workman started work at 6.45am in the morning - not great for being on holidays.... View of a brick wall. No weekend check in. Asked to leave keys in return box that did not exist. Ended up checking in to another hotel.
