The impressive Victoria Restaurant at Ballarat Lodge is located right next door. Located 2 km from the city centre, Quest Ballarat Mews is situated opposite the Sovereign Hill outdoor museum. Melbourne is a 90-minute drive away.

Facilities were very suited to the needs of a family. We cooked our meals in the appartment, and found that everything we required was available. Staff was most accommodating & helpful. Good outside space. Booking done over the internet, when we arrived we buzzed at the gate told to go to our room, there was a welcoming letter with the key and we didn't see any staff until we dropped the key off the next day.

The rooms were very clean and the family area was well equipped and very comfortable. Has a lovely courtyard area and convenient parking. Very comfortable for a family, it was great having a tv in the main bedroom, overall we will stay here again! Loved the courtyard!!. Heaters on in room when I got there. Ease of using the rooms. Plenty of space to work but still a nice family type place. The size of the apartment. The bath. The kitchen. Location relative to Sovereign Hill and local restaurants. I thought that the apartment was very neat and comfortable. The garden surround also made it very enjoyable. Spacious accommodation, ecxellent bed wonderful slepp and fantastic shower head with great flow of water. This hotel very good for family, have beautiful mid yard and have car park. the facilities were excellant, clean & tidy throw out, would recommend. The space the facilites would stay again. Large rooms, air conditioning, value. The closeness to where we had to go. everything :). nice decor. Lovely setting around a courtyard, close to Sovereign Hill, easy to find, nice two story apartment with all facilities. Roomy apt with large living area and kitchen. Everything was fine. Nil!. The limited car parking - we had no car park on 1 of our nights as they were taken up by other guest/visitors. Reception area was very cold and sort of closed up. Creaking floorboards upstairs. Having to pay for wifi which is now free in most motels, even the budget chains. Key dispenser not working on arrival and having to wait for staff to come from off-site to get a key for us. Road noise from bedroom window lil late at night from apartment 8 .... Rest of rooms prob ok though. nothing. No parking spaces left couldnt check in until 3pm , still being cleaned from 2pm. N/A. no soap in bathroom, no staff on location - was some noise from other patrons during the afternoon - sporting team which was unsettling. Smokers in the courtyard leaving butts in ashtrays. If door of unit was left open smoke wafted in. Kitchen bench top was dirty, hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom floor was filthy, sticky, obviously just get wiped over and not washed properly. It's freezing cold even in late autumn and the heater is not enough. Electric blanket would do better job. Quest didn't read my booking properly and no second apartment was allocated - although paid for! No compensation offered and in-laws had to stay other side of city in nightclub area. Had to push to get taxis paid for. Would not recommend Quest.
