We were there one night and thought that it was a beautiful hotel with a lot of character. In Old San Juan and close to shops and restaurants and activities. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful.--Help carry luggage upstairs and downstairs. Owner says that plans are in the works for an elevator. We would stay there again.

The hotel was above than our expectations, is very beatiful, clean, and the staff in all the areas are very friendly, helpfull and efficient. We booked this as a pre-cruise hotel stay in Old San Juan so we could be close to the action. We were NOT disappointed! Upon arrival and checking in we were informed that we had been given an upgrade. No idea how that happened, but it was wonderful! It was to the Presidential Suite on the 6th floor and it was simply outstanding! Loved the O So Hip vibe of this place. My husband and I had some friends come visit us in the hotel while we were there and the staff was just as nice to them as they were to us. I loved the open courtyard in front of our room where we hung out and enjoyed the air. The breakfast was great and the fresh bread was to die for. The location is spot on

It was great to stay in an apartment-like room And make our own food ... IF we wanted to. For the most part it was quiet And without the 4-5 star hotel crowds. Our time there was beautiful And memorable as we enjoyed the beach just beyond the pool, jucuzzi And boardwalk. Every Sunday, there's a live band playing traditional music And popular Salsa tunes as well. We'll definately go back! Loved it!

The outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was
refreshing. They went out of their way to offer assistance and always
were accommodating. A delicious spread at breakfast was very pleasant in
the outdoor garden looking onto the ocean. I had forgot my phone charger
in the room and the cleaning staff turned it in; I received it when I
returned to pick up my bags later in the day. Overall, I give them the
highest marks in service, location and amenities. I will definitely be
returning
