The rooms were very quaint and comfortable. The rooms were very clean as were the rounds. It felt more like home than a hotel. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was lovely and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. -

We were looking for a quiet getaway for the long July 4 weekend, and that's exactly what we got. We stayed in the lodge itself (there are also cottages with more amenities, which cost more), and had a clean, comfortable room. The owner and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. When the owner found out that I have cancer and my husband has a back injury, he offered to upgrade us to a cottage so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. He also had a breakfast tray brought up to my husband. The room was very comfortable, and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful. We hope to go back during the summer so we can use the pool.

Location!! Literally right next to the edge of the day 3 battlefields, the cemetery and very close to the visitors center. It is also close to the town center-easily walkable.
Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. A bit outdated but clean and comfortable.
Pool was nice for a quick dip-all that is needed. After all one doesn't go to Gettysburg to lounge by the pool all day. :)
Breakfast was good-in an old house on the property. Typical "breakfast included" fare.
We would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay here! Location can not be beat, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are spotless and breakfast was very nice. The staff was super friendly and made great suggestions on places to eat and things to see. We've already booked a return visit and joined the preferred "club". This was our first stay at the Glass House Inn. We chose this Inn because we were heading to Waldemeer Park and it was close and sounded nice. decor was somewhat dated but I was impressed with the homey feel and the cleanliness. I liked the warm and friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. Well worth the money. It was very quiet at night for sleeping. The owners were very helpful in answering questions about local attractions to go and see. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's a great location to getting to some of Erie's cool sites and attractions.
