The ocean view and opening the deck slider to hear the seagulls and the waves was wonderful. I also liked the breakfast and the nightly cookies. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean was pretty cool. -

The room was very clean,upon arriving the staff were very nice.We were next room to a couple that were having a very loud fight and my husband went to the front desk and they took care of it right away. -
Beds and rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.
Showers were excellent; plenty of hot water and good pressure.

I traveled to Newport from Central Oregon for the halibut fishing opener. Considering that I had to be at the charter office at 4:30 a.m., staying overnight in Newport was essential. The Inn at Yaquina Bay is only a short walk to the charter office, so it is really convenient. The price wasn’t too steep, and it was quiet. -

The location was great especially since it was within walking distance from the Aquarium and Hatfield Science Center as well as the bay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our weekend getaway and were very pleased with the hotel and staff! We were upgraded to an ocean view room for no extra charge and the staff was very helpful with the one small issue we had with the tv, and fixed it promptly. The location was just blocks from Nye Beach shopping and the public beach access. Two minutes in the car and you are on the Oregon Coast Highway and access to shopping and dining. The rooms were larger than expected (especially in the price range). We had a partial ocean view room, and it was perfect. Open the window and you can see the waves coming in, just not hitting the beach, which was fine with us. The free breakfast was excellent.
