The location is great - right in the thick of things. I like that you can walk to everywhere. Nice Italian wine bar right across the street. Sweet. Walk down to the waterfront to rend a Kayak, visit restaurants, coffee places, wine tasting, whatever; about a .. what 1 to 2 minute walk. For the price, you just can't beat it. hotel is a veteran of morro bay. so its dated. but the views can't be beat of morro rock & the bay. this from the upper 2 floors only. the bed was hard. a nice pillow top would be good here. as most guest appear to be older. still a good deal. off season, like now is the best.
todo comentarios » The view from the room was spectacular. Sunsets were right in front of you. The morning light on the rock gives it a glow you don't normally see. And it is all right out your window and from the benches on the walkway. The room was clean and comfortable. Good value motel in a delightful location and town. Rooms were quite roomy and comfortable. Car parking at the door was handy. Good WIFI. Location excellent, with a choice of restaurants close by and a short stroll to the waterfront. Log fire was superb and so easy to light. The position of the room and view from room was great, easy parking, Restaurant across the road (Italian) was excellent and good value. Overall excelnt value. I've stayed at the Breakers before. I like everything about the motel except the rooms that have the sliding doors. We did not have those rooms. It's perfect walking to the seashore & shopping & dining. Very quiet in the evening time. The location is right downtown and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. accomadations were nice-clean pool, nice hot tub, clean room. Very nice location. great view of the bay and morro rock. it was quiet but close to everything i wanted to see. Comminicative staff despite our 8:45 pm arrival. The price was good for a family of four. I liked the location, view, and price. Best value for the money in morro bay. We loved our view and fireplace. nearby restaurants and sea view. Convenience to Embarcadero. Had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Price and location. Location and Staff. Location. For this price, at this location, my expectations were more than met. It was quiet when I wanted to sleep and it was clean. No real complaints. hard bed. no ceiling fan in the room. the free beakfast was also very lacking in variety, & choices. I couldn't find any thermostat control. The "warm/cool" dial on the wall had no noticeable effect. At times the room was too warm in the afternoon sun and too cold in the cool nights. Breakfast arrangements a bit inconvenient, requiring one to go over to the small office to make breakfast, then carry it all back to one's room. Breakfast was adequate with juice, toast and spreads, coffee/tea, supermarket muffins and pastries. Breakfast not available till 9:00 so didnt bother, it didnt look like much anyway. Bar down the hill closed at 6:30 as the town was very quiet with it being out of season. On third floor with no lift. Nothing. The blow dryer didn't work, there was no soap the first nite, the pool wasn't heated, the breakfast was packaged pastries & fresh apples, juice & cofee. Some of the door locks were hard to operate because of the sea air. took too long for hotwater to getto room. Small bathroom and shower. no elevators. I should have requested an earlier breakfast, something we missed since it wasn't offered before 9 am (Friday). The continental breakfast is misleading. We expected more fruit and pastries. The continental breakfast started at 9AM. That is the normal time most breakfasts are done. over price. Continental breakfast not available until 9:00 am and sliding door to the room very difficult to open--key kept getting stuck. they put us in a room behind a stairway which took away the view. Would move us for a higher rate. I could hear the people upstairs talking. (At least they were getting along ok). Not staying longer. Ridiculously low shower (and I'm not a tall man), I had to bend over to wash my hair. I didn't like that you had to wait until 9 am to get the breakfast, juice was warm, they could do a lot better on breakfast. Shower leaked/towels scratchy Bed terribly hard Refrig froze everything Door kept unlocking Too much furniture in small space Not enough hangers No nightlight A rude person at the pool kept cannonballing Morning sweet roll/coffee bar not served until 9. Aging facility in desperate need of updating. Continental breakfast consisted of packaged muffin and juice/coffee. Breakfast not available until 9:00am. The office closes from 9 pm to 9am...so the continental breakfast is not available until 9 am... My "view of the rock" room was no such thing. My room was under the stairwell and that was all i could see. There were people talking loudly til 2am outside my door. Walls are not soundproof. It seemed there was no one to monitor guests behaviors. Parking had to be on the street. I didn't like the fact that the office close so early and opened late in the morning!!!!!. Small and cramped. Shower didn't work originally. There were no glasses soap or shampoo . The room was not cleaned very well. They also mixed up our booking. TV remote rarely worked. The mini fridge had a constant buzzing sound. One washcloth and NO hand towels in the bathroom. Bath mat thread bare and frayed on the edges. 2 shampoos, no conditioner. Pillows were lumpy and/or hard. NO ice bucket in room. Beds were made sloppy, bed skirt hanging on the floor. I stayed here many times several years ago and it was wonderful. Doesn't look like any upgrades since. The Breakers needs some serious updating to compete with the other nicer motels. Filthy, poor customer service, old uncomfortable beds, poor view, not as described. Room Dirty Room old and dank Advertised view only from 3 rooms Limited parking Value.
