I loved this little boutique hotel. the interior was really cool with the lovely old photographs. it looked like a Ralph Lauren design. The staff were great and the food in the bar was fantastic. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfy. Oh and we went down to the club downstairs and had a blast dancing the night away.

Call down in advance to have you car brought up. So you don't have to wait so long.

The hotel is modern. The room is totally digital (I loved this) and very beautiful. The restaurant inside the hotel is good and not expensive. The location is very, very good (near of the beach and a few meters to ocean drive and lincoln road). The wi-fi is free and works very well.

For a 5 stars hotel I really expected more. The check-in is at 4pm (later). They have a valet at the hotel, but you need to order your car 20 minutes in advance (this was not a problem for me, but it's not a good point). They have a 15% tax and 25USD Resort Fee per day and this point disappointed me a lot - The tax ok, but the Fee can be mentioned at letsbookhotel.com description page. This charge was not a problem for me, but I don't like "tricks".

Décor is fantastic

Lack of cupboard space to unpack all clothes. Additional hanging space was provided however no draws to unpack non hanging items.

very expensive hotel + 25$ a day is a must for internet and using the facility wither you like it or not it will be detected as an extra per day which i really did not want and did not like the area in the beach is not clean as well its an expensive hotel noisy no 24hr service for resturant as the kitchen closes at 10

Clean, great location and such a lovely hotel, style and decor is great, staff are brilliant. Will definitely stay again!

We were kept awake one night until 4.30am by noise from the nightclub 2 floors down. I advised the hotel staff, where upon checkout i spoke to the manager, she was great, apologised and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you Anna.

The style of the Hotel

That we were exposed for the three nights we were there (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) every night to an unbearable noise Level from the Disco in the Basement of the Hotel and that until 5am in the morning, so we couldn't find any sleep. When lodging a complain with the front desk we were told that they will take it up with Management. Believe that we were not the only guests 'suffering' from that ordeal as we in fact met another couple at reception we also complained bitterly about the blast.

Staff was available, congenial and anxious to help out.

Restaurant breakfast needs upgrading. RIn our Signature room had little storage space; a suitcase stand would be helpful.

I absolutely loved this hotel, facilities were great, staff were great, especially Joelle at the front desk, fantastic location without being noisy, lovely rooftop pool, very convenient for beach and Lincoln Road. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony which I really loved. I work for an airline and travel a lot and rate this hotel as one of the top on my list of great places to stay. Can't wait to return.

The only complaints I have are practical things. The room safe was very high up, just about managed to throw my things in and lock it. Tiny cupboard, no where to put my clothes and things, no drawers or shelves, no desk or chair, which I believe could be resolved. Also no umbrellas round the swimming pool, beautiful pool, just needs some shade around pool and on bar deck below.

The hotel was wonderful, the staff was excellent, and we will definitely book a reservation for the Gale hotel next year. We loved everything about the hotel and the location.

Super, using the words of the terminator "I 'll be back" one of the best hotels, we ever had. With my complements to the staff.

The valet parking took a long time( it was raining). Extra charges for the minibar and beach facilities even if you don't use them (due to the rain) you have to pay.

Style, ambiance, friendly staff, comfort, nice shower! Clean, flat screen, quick service. I will always book this hotel when I come to the south beach area. The price was fantastic and comfort and service of this hotel was outstanding!

Great Design Hotel with a very nice bar and Italian Restaurant. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Location is perfect, beach, ocean drive and Lincoln road are in walking distance. Beach towels and chairs are included in the room price.

Stylish design, great staff, comfy rooms, nice restaurant and bar, beautiful pool, this place has everything to become a trendy hang out or the relaxation after-party, even more - everything says it was build for that.

Lots of non-trendy guests with kids esp. in the pool, im sure kids were not comfortable in this place.. no music or bar with drinks and snacks in the pool.. had to get out to sls to spend time. terraces in the rooms have high walls - no view and even claustrophobic feeling. No privacy in the bathrooms in the room - for me it wasnt a prob though. The restarant terrace should have a rooc or umbrellas - too hot during the day.

Perfect location, you have everything at your fingertips...beach, restaurants, night clubs are all a short walk away. Hotel was very clean and comfy, and best value from all the 5* hotels on south beach. Would stay there again without a doubt.

I didn't like the open space shower with no door. It gave you no privacy. Could have been a better breakfast selection. The extra fees, I didn't care for.

I liked the staff and I want to single out Miri. She was very helpful, very professional, very friendly, very efficient. I was extremely impressed with her and consider her one of the top front desk persons I have ever met.

The size of the rooms is ridiculously small. It did not even have a desk at which I could work!!! However, it had a bottle of vodka! When I changed rooms, it was to a lovely room that was small but adequate in size and it had a desk.

Obligatory resort fee of 25USD per night and 100USD Incident deposit per night were a suprize for us... Not the best place on the beach.

Rooms are very small, maids didn't clean one day, no place to hang bathing suits or towels or anything. And you have to buy coffee in the morning. Even the econolodge gives you coffee with your room,

This hotel was everything a Miami Beach hotel should be!Pure vitage yet modern. I will ONLY stay at Gale each time I visit South Beach which is quite often.The staff was amazing!

The professionalism and attentiveness of the staff was a pleasure. The Gale is located in the heart of the action of South Beach but also acts as a home away from home because of boutique size.
