Our favorite aspect of the room was the bathroom with both a deep
soaking tub and a lovely shower with hand held spray. This latter
feature is often omitted in even many nicer hotels. Of course the marble
and the overall design created a cheerful and homey environment. The bed

The sound system was nice. Our room faced the back and so was extemely
quiet for nyc. Of course, the staff was as pleasant as could be. -
The staff were ALL extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very large and extremely nice. The shower was amazing and had great water pressure. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Even though our room overlooked Madison Avenue, it was very quiet. In short, it was wonderful!!

I like the style, frankly the ' class ' that The Carlyle and that the staff exude. I stayed many times at The Carlyle in the 1980's early 90s, indeed had my wedding there in 1998. I haven't been at all since for no negative reason but simply professionally I no longer visit NY, but expect to privately will do periodically going fwd. I liked it as

The apartment was clean and very well furnished. The greeter was quite helpful in getting me organized and also had lots of tips for me on the neighborhood. The neighborhood was great as there was many subways nearby. -

We had a fantastic stay at this comfy and charming studio on the upper
east side. The booking process was easy and check in was smooth. Staff
was warm and the place was so clean. It was my first time staying at a
private apartment but it was a great way to experience nyc. I felt very
at home and welcomed. Will do it again. -

Hotel is 'as-expected' but 7 blocks from subway in a nothing-
special neighbourhood. We had a small issues with our booking through
the website : we booked 3, they expected 2 and although a bit stubborn
to start they fixed the problem. The gym is ok but the pool hours are
too short : 10 to 6pm
