  The location in spite of being fairly close to Hwy 101, was fairly quiet with the windows closed. The rooms in the back of the hotel view trees and the hills with nice aromas from the grasses. Because of the trees & grasses there are lots of birds making the surroundings very peaceful. The room was very clean although not very roomy but ok. Parking was quite difficult if you arrive in the middle of the night or pass midnight.

  Excellent accomodations, breakfast and dinner. Restaurant was excellent and employees friendly, courteous and willing to help you. We liked it very much - The hotel was very convenient and comfortable. Great ammenities and excellent complimentary breakfast.

  I stayed with my partner and another couple in town for a wedding. We were so close to everything- the location was great. The room was comfortable and clean and much larger than I expected. There were no problems to report. We had a balcony and spent some time in the pool and hot tub, very nice after a day wine tasting. For the money, this place ... lo que la gente dice » far exceeded my expectations. - I liked the breakfast, I liked the fact that although we were on the 'freeway side' the place is built pretty solid, and the noise of the freeway was not a problem (perhaps as there were no windows on that side). We enjoyed the breakfast each morning!

Hope to go back next year. Worth every dime. Sooo clean. Teri at the front desk made me feel like an old friend. The rooms are large which I loved. The pool and spa were so clean and large. Close to Solvang which is an amazing town. Highly suggest giving it a try.
