Very clean and comfortable. Had my pet with me and the fee was nominal; they didn't give me a room with crappy carpet to accommodate the pet. Free breakfast was hot, if uninspired. Staff was nice. -
Good location, good bed. All else as you would expect from an older property used as an overnight to somewhere else.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. The eggs were real and tasted like home. The coffee was as well. I hope I can arrange to stay on my return across country.

This is a historical motel. The motel was first built in the early/mid 1900's. They have several old cars and articles that are from the early 20th century. We both enjoy the old Route 66 type atmosphere. AND, the showers with high water pressure were absolutely GREAT! The owners were also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Motel has rooms with view to the unexpectedly large Pool. They have a back door and even a small terrace. We were a party of four with older children and the room was spacious and absolutely sufficient. We used the guest laundry and everything was in good working order and the prices were absolutely ok. The complimentary breakfast was a nice add on! We can strongly recommend the California Inn.

The staff was very very helpful so when they realized they made a mistake with the booking they provided their own ice instead of refrigator. In the morning they even made a coffee just for us. Very friendly people. -
The room was clean the staff was very friendly it was small and cozy very similar to home.
