Excellent location very close to Dubai Creek,and the old shopping district with stores too numerous to count. Situated in a restored part of traditional "old Dubai" with "artsy" restaurants/cafes just around the corner. Very cozy, comfortable and quiet. A real gem.

It is a taste of old school Dubai, a rare treat in a city full of new and shiny developments. Idyllic courtyards, sunset terraces and right by bastistikia and the creek - perfect for romantic strolling and chilling out.

Excellent positon, no need to climb stairs. small and cosy,

The character of the Guest House was in keeping with the early days of Dubai and its location was very close to the 'old' quarter of Dubai. It was clean and comfortable.

Its strength in replicating the 'old' Dubai style was its weakness as the facilities of the Guest House were basic.

Cosiness and warm environment

The room is too small. I stayed there for 3 days. During my stay there I had the same meal for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is perfect - all the historical sights within walking distance and the Abra across the creek justthe other end of the colourful souk

The breakfast selection poor, and I felt the rooms were overpriced for the general level of facilities. This may reflect the unreasable charges in general for hotels in Dubai. If one is going to have to pay the same for a concrete box in a high rise tower then this hotel is excellent value. The staff were not particularly friendly and this made the level of service seem lacking
