Se ve que se fijan en los detalles, es muuy coqueto. En lineas generales muy bien - The staff that were there were excellant and could not do enough for us.. Its situation to york was fantastic only a five min walk. - The staff member we dealt with at reception was very friendly, helpful and always willing to help at any point.

The whole trip was fantastic. We arrived late Thursday evening and there was someone there to check us in and show us to our rooms. The room was beautiful, old charm mixed with a modern bathroom. The building and room were very impressive. There was a relaxed atmosphere and I felt like I was experiencing a little bit of luxury whilst staying there. Breakfast was a delight.
When we arrived we were shown round and given a complimentary cup of tea. I think u get cookies too as several people saidvthey were coming altho we never got any. But we weren't fussed and I think that this was a wonderful touch.

The new managers had just taken over and had many issues to deal with. They made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs well. The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. -

Nikki and her children Miles and Alicia were the perfect hosts. We
stayed on the top floor and the rooms were perfect with a nice view from
the rooftop windows. Nikki made us a lovely breakfast and gave us a lot
of information and directions around the city of York. I would recommend
staying here and would love to come back for another visit one day.

It was close to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Cute little room with a comfy bed. Not a lot of frills, but didn't feel like anything I needed was really lacking. Had a cozy inn kind of feel to it. The staff was very nice and let us keep our car in the car park after we checked out so we could wander the city a bit. -

We thought the suite was beautiful. The bed was so, so comfortable and the layout of the room very much to our liking. The whole suite was "quality". The breakfast was immense and kept us going until early evening. The staff we met were very polite and very attentive. The area outside our suite was very nice but the weather wasn't conducive to sitting outside. I would recommend "Mount Royale" very highly! Convenient to the city and all its attractions.

Everything from the hospitality and lovely breakfasts to the well furnished comfort of the room. Tony made us very welcome with coffee and biscuits on arrival. The owners were welcoming and friendly and the accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful - gluten-free bread was supplied specially for me, which was much appreciated. Well appointed rooms every thing you would need. Plenty of tea coffee etc. Breakfast was fab good selection of cereal fresh fruit even mince pies and bottled water. Followed by full English and any amount of toast.location was spot on a nice 15 minute walk along the river to the center of York. Would defiantly stay again. -

Earlier that day he kindly gave my friend who had travelled by car a lift into town. Lovely spacious, comfortable room and well supplied with toiletries. Good breakfast, freshly cooked to order.

I stayed at the York Lodge for two nights. Didn't really know what
to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very
comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no
reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous
supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely
stay there again.

Upgrade to top suite, much appreciated. Impeccable, top notch service. Good car parking facilities. Convenient short cab ride into York city centre, also good for racecourse. - Everything. Stayed in the courtyard area and it was delighful. The room was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Certainly will be going back there again.

The couple running the guest house were great. Very friendly. The breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, toast, yogurt, cereal and cook breakfast. It was very close to the town, only about 10-15 walk and there were plenty of restaurants nearby too. There was only two parking spot, one of which we had. Not sure where other guests parked so if you have a car it is not necessarily going to be parked on site. I would stay again and recommend this accommodation.

The rooms are generously proportioned and the staff couldn't have done enough for us. The breakfasts are excellent. Location of the hotel to York was good and only a 20minute walk or three minute taxi ride away. All in all we had a great weekend and would readily recommend The Limes to anyone.
