  Good location just 1 min from j1 of M66 and a 5 min. drive from Ramsbottom. Ramsbottom has some good individual shops and a steam railway. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent we had a very enjoyable evening meal there. Nice bar and lounge areas. Our bedroom at back of hotel overlooking grassy hillside good size. Staff friendly and the room was lovely and clean. We had our evening meal and Breakfast at the Hotel and thought both were lovely. We would definitely stay here again should we need accommodation near Bury/ Rawtenstall area.

  nice and peaceful. location. although we only live 30mins away you are very difficult to find and it took us 2 hrs as you are not signposted very well - Sports facilities and comfort of room and hotel lounge

  I really enjoyed the pool,jacuzzi and sauna. We also enjoyed the privacy and quietness and the homeliness of all of the staff - Pool was amazingly warm. Parking easy. Staff very nice. Lots of high endfripperies (pillow menu, lavender spray, Xmas gift)

  We stayed because we had a family occasion nearby and didn't want to be bothered with Taxi's etc. The bed was amazingly comfortable with good plump pillows and a luxury throw on for comfort. The mattress was so deep I felt like Princess in Princess and the Pea! Bath was good and plentiful of hot water and a good shower. Staff couldn't have been ... lo que la gente dice » better-informed us on checking in about the side door being locked after dark for the safety fo the guests and when we arrived back at 12.30+ am the g - This is an excellent hotel in the centre of Ramsbottom, good for walking the moors or visiting nearby Bury and Manchester. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable and the wifi was excellent. Also, the full English breakfast can be recommended. The bar may be noisy at times but it is a pub.
