El personel - We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB. The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. This YHA is excellent. The Staff go the extra mile - they're most helpful and informative. Louise and Rodrigo (Staff) were especially helpful to my sister who needed a comfortable night, and they went out of their way to ensure this.
The YHA is beautifully designed. One wishes others had a Library, and such a neat and accessible garden - altogether a sanctuary next to the Station! Great value and memorable experience. Thank you very much.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed and great ensuite facilities. Nice kitchenette in the room also. Breakfast basket of muffins, cereal, breakfast bars, tea/coffee etc topped up daily. Very close to city centre (10-15 minute walk) and train station (15-20 minute walk). Friendly staff. Room had a feeling of privacy.
