Lo que la gente dice
Very warm welcome when we arrived and offered to help with our luggage. We had booked the 2bedroom apartment which was very spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a 4month old baby with us and this was an ideal apartment for us. We were also happy with the extras when we arrived- washing up liquid, cloths, dishtowels, toiletries etc.
Another attraction is the free parking outside the apartments. They are also located within walking distance of Byers Road shopping area and the Botanic Gardens. Un. todo comentarios »
We loved the beautiful high ceiling with bay window apartment amongst beautiful homes in a great location in Glasgow. The kitchen was all we needed and the B/R facilities excellent. Easy bus service to the city and because we were usually exhausted by the end of the day we would get a taxi back from the city for about 9 pounds. Lovely local shops as well.
We liked the staff - very friendly, very helpful and kind. We liked that
we could walk to the university, we liked the apartment and the quiet.
We liked the area - very nice. We liked that we could eat in. Enjoyed
our stay despite comments in the didn't like box.
There was lots of room, really comfy sofas, good TV and care had been with the decor. I would recommend it to anyone. The kitchen, although tiny, was well laid out and everything worked!.
I liked the spacious little cottage we had at the back of the building. Quiet and peaceful. A lovely place to stay in the westend of Glasgow.
Superb location, quiet and elegant accommodation with free parking
directly outside.
Quiet, spacious room. Cleanliness.Good wardrobe and drawer space.
Loved the high ceilings and the overall atmosphere.
Beautiful building and location. Good sized room.
The location, close to the places we had to go.
Pretty much everything.
Everything!.
Beautiful building in a beautiful housing area. Apartment living with
privacy and do what you want when you want. Size of room great for 2
persons. Staff very nice and all communications both written and
spoken very efficiently accomplished. Plenty of parking day or night,
in adjacent streets, or outside to the front door. Plenty of heat and
hot water.
staff when could be seen were friendly enough if not that talkative. great location, very nice area. close to west end nightlife.main room was clean. bathroom and kitchen were adequate for our one night stay. kitchen may not have been adequate if staying for longer.
Within 15 minutes walk of good restaurants.
We didn't like the bed - too small and far too hard and
uncomfortable for a 9 night stay (for oldies). Although tv is rubbish we
think that you could invest in a new flat screen tv. With a new bed and
a new tv I would almost put apartment 34 in the luxury box.
The fridge could have been put on earlier so that it was cold and the heating likewise so that the apartment was warm!.
The heating could have been turned on prior to our arrival. Cottage felt a little cold and damp until it heat up.
Wifi was off during my stay.
Unevenness of kitchen and bathroom floor.
Switch for shower in kitchen not bathroom.
The kitchen wastoo tiny.
Decor and furniture tired.
The tartan carpet.
The only negative thing is the fact that isolation between flats / rooms is not really efficient... but people were not noisy so... and it was to be expected from such an old house.
Room 24 smelled of old fat/frying - we subsequently found the
internal kitchen to be very smelly - the extractor fan was switched off
when we arrived which worked when switched on but was noisy. The kitchen
needs a refurbishment as the cooker was old and not very clean - we
never used it. Don't know how long the extractor had been switched
off but an internal kitchen without air extraction running is bound to
get smelly.
room was a bit shabby and in need of upgrade. furniture doesn't match and a tv that was at least 10 years old.actual design of the apartments are old and tartan overload in hallways. it could make more of the beautiful original building.
I did not like this hotel. I believe that booking a low price room on the internet sometimes gets you the worst room in the hotel.
In this case the apartment I had was tatty, smelled fusty and was at the back of the building.
The decor was outdated and the carpet was old and well worn.
It seemed to me more like a staff accommodation than a guest room.
Very much overpriced in my opinion. I would not stay here again.
