  The older gentleman working in the reception was a perfect example of hospitality and he also seemed to have a great knowledge of Edinburgh, which he shared generously.   Everything about this hotel was incredible - we found ourselves wanting to stay longer - Gaia at the front desk reception was so very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic about the property. Our room was spacious and included anything one might need for extended stays. The "Roxburgh's Court Close" location was not as difficult to find and ac - The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.
