Well placed to visit the Gormley statues. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

  It is a very unusual hotel! Run by a local authority which must be a very enlightened one. It is modern and has a wonderful atmosphere. There were lots of groups of children and adults enjoying the facilities both inside and out. Bedrooms are huge and it was very quiet at night. We were attending a family event locally, but it is a good value for money base for exploring Liverpool, which is only a short train ride away, or for exploring up the Lancastrian coast,
