  I stayed here for four nights in mid April. Excellent value at £30 per night, especially in view of the superb full English breakfast (8.00 to 9.30). Very pleasant breakfast room, all tables immaculately laid,cereals, juices and toast, bay window overlooking street and a wall mounted flat screen tv for your early morning news fix. He helped me unload and load my car out in the street on arrival and departure, and when on the last day - I stayed in the apartment which was great value for money - it appears to be a converted part of the building rather than a purpose built space, and because of this it isn't the highest quality, still it was clean and spacious enough for a 3-day stay. The staff are friendly (including Phil who might not be everyone's cup of tea)and the location was spot on for a Snowdon Trip. There was even parking right behind the building.

  The warmth and hospitality from the moment we stepped in, the warmth, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff upon arrival and throughout - and it was genuine in the personalities, it came through a natural friendliness. The place was warm and had a cosy feel throughout, every need for a comfortable stay was met - helpful extras - slippers, soap... lo que la gente dice » s, beautiful design features easy on the eye gave a professional impression of hospitality and value - the breakfast menu was complex to meet a great - Fantastic breakfast, great location and very warm and welcoming hosts. Some lovely touches also .. 2 bottles of water on our bedside tables when we arrived and also a cupboard in the hallway with essential items for guests to use if they were out. Would highly recommend the Cartref Guesthouse. We will stay again next time we are Caernarfon. We had a lovely overnight stay and will be back.
