The staff here make the place what it is. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is also a hotel and restaurant and bar and sheisha bar and the food is delicious and not too expensive. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of. Best hostel iv stayed in and Iv stayed in many many hostels!

I was really impressed the way hospitable and friendly the staff was. They helped us all the time, gave us the needed advice and were always polite. If we had to go to other city, - they showed us the way, if we had a problem, then they solved it easily. In Orient Hostel we felt like in big family, knowing some nice people from all over the world.

The hostel staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed spending time with them.
The hostel is located right near the historic area of Istanbul. You can get in just minutes to Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque or Basilica Cistern. It is also very easy to get to the hostel from Sultanahmet tram station.
One big plus is that the hostel was very clean. Also, we had breakfast included in the room price and the hostel had safety boxes to keep our valuables.

The Tulip hotel is extremely clean. The staff is very helpful, friendly,
accomodating, and speaks great English. The location is wonderful - very
convenient to all the major sites in Sultanhamet (Blue Mosque, Topkapi,
Hagia Sophia) as well as the great public transit network. Breakfast was
quite nice. The showers were wonderful, and had lots of hot water. They

The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. like a Home in Istanbul for us. We're so lucky that we found this
place. Location best of that could be. You do not even have to go out,

The hostel is great! One of the best hostels I have ever seen. Location is amazing, staff is incredibly helpful. Deniz, the manager of the hostel, knows each and every guest by name! And it might be ridiculous but people staying there are really nice and interesting. Even though I was not traveling alone I met some new friends there. The other thing I like a lot is a light and receptacle next to every sleeping place. To sum up - dont hesitate if you are looking for smth good for the normal pric

Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.
