  Very, very helpful and kind staff, prompt and correct administration at the reception, nice choice of breakfast food, close to bus and train station, clean, many tv channels in English and other languages.   The location is excellent. Tucked in to the "old town" of Sargans at the foot of a mountain. We hiked partway up the mountain one evening and the view was gorgeous, and the local people we met friendly. Sargans is a little "off the beaten track" for English speaking travellers, which we don't mind. Charming. The actual - Warm welcome and English speaking host. Thomas was a very polite hotel manager and EXCELLENT chef. We would highly recommend eating in the restaurant, even the guests special rate meal was excellent. Undercover bicycle storage, fast WIFI, very quiet location.
