Lo que la gente dice
For me this was a perfect hostel, nice staff, great location ( since its
very close to the Bernabeu and I always come for games ) and a great
neighbourhood. Staff speaks only Spanish like they do in all of Madrid
so take a dictionary. Room was nice and big, and very clean. Nice bed,
but bring your own pillow. Oh and take earplugs but I always do that so
for me the noise was not bad. This hotel is just fine for me. The room is so clean, nice, and comfortable and the most important is its cheap cost. The staff are so friendly and when I ask more hours before checking out, they just permitted it. I will definitely stay there if I visit Madrid again . todo comentarios »
The people that work there were always nice and looking forward to help.
Even though I got the room with shared bathroom I liked the fact that the bathrooms were all for one person at a time and not a Gym-like bathoom.
Well I complained the last time I stayed in there about the unful smell when you entered in the hostal, but on my second time on the hostal the bad smell was gone,so am pleased that they listen to their customers.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they cannot speak English but it is not a big deal as you can communicate somehow. Probably the best hotel you can find for a very reasonable price.
came here for the champions league match between madrid and manchester united and hotel was located in an ideal place as it was 10 minute walk to stadium.
it was a great price and was near the metro.. easy to get to.. it was clean and had just done a refurbishment...
Close to metro station (although need to transfer 3 times from the airport). The room is new and very clean.
after restoration, clean and nice at the middle of madrid,
parking avilable(8 erou),
good recomandation.
Clean, well-maintained, convenient location very close to Estrecho metro stop.
Clean and modern, also on-site parking.
Proximity to my departure point.
it is very clean.
The hostel was conveniently located near Estrecho metro station. The staff was incredibly friendly and was there 24 hours to assist. It was a nice place to stay for a short period of time. The room was warm during winter but too hot for my liking (even with the fan on).
The single-room I had was clean and was cleaned every day, like in a hotel. The subway stop "Estrecho" (serving Line 1) is just around the corner.
Good price given that it is reasonably close to central Madrid.
recently renovated.. nice rooms.. close to the station.
The location was very good to
Move around Madrid.
Clean rooms, all in all a good impression.
cleanliness, and location near Metro station.
Check out was at noon. Close to metro.
Nothing, everything was great.
some times i ran out of hot water in the middle of a bath if someone else was showering at the same time in another bathroom.
the first time i stayed on the first floor and it was good. the second time i stayed on the second floor and it was full of smoke..people smoked in the rooms and hallway and it stunk...very unpleaseant...what a pity.
self breakfast room is not comfortable and equiped with minimum needs ( water ect.).
Small room, poor quality shower gel and shampoo.
We could hear others having showers in adjacent rooms that woke us early in the morning.
Only cold water in the bedroom.
A little noisy. The people next to my room talked very loudly until two o'clock in the morning.
I had to bring my own tissue roll to the bathroom. There was no elevator which made carrying luggage quite difficult.
The walls are very thin, so the house is rather loud – if you're a rather sensitive sleeper like me, you'd better bring ear plugs. The hostel itself is in a side street, though, so at least you don't get much noise from the street. Payment was expected on arrival, so giving them my credit card info on letsbookhotel.com didn't actually pay for the stay – it would have been nice if this was actually mentioned. Also, staff seems to be only speaking Spanish.
Too much noise from other rooms/thin walls.
the room was very hot in the summer..there was no breeze and a small fan...the 2nd floor stunk of cigarette smoke...
There was an awful smell I think from the drainage they have to fix in the hotel ,.
The personal does not speak any English, but they are patient and eager to help, so that is a minor flaw.
Room was very congested. Drinking water should be provided by the hostel management in the room.
The mattress and bedding were poor quality. The floors are all
laminated and the hostel is very noisy with people wheeling in
suitcases at all hours. Walls are paper thin. Staff do not speak
English and all notices are in Spanish. No wi- fi facility, you have to
bring your own laptop. Shower room was pretty dirty. All in all, a
noisy hostel on a busy main road.
