This place is like a treasure. It is hard to find (especially if you come with a car) but once you find it you know it was worth the effort.

The location is perfect for seeing Granada and for experiencing the Albaycin - the old town with narrow cobbled streets on the hill opposite the Alhambra. Ainhoa, the owner is really helpful and friendly and made us very welcome. We had a room with a terrace which was a bonus.

The staff at the hotel are just outstanding. My husband became ill in Granada and had to spend 5 days in a local hospital. I have little Spanish and the hospital staff had little English. The location of this hotel is perfect. We could walk to the Alhambra and
everything else easily. There is a little cafe, Manuel's connected
to the restaurant where a delicious little breakfast can be had for a
few euros. Unlike other hotel breakfast buffets which tend toward tired
meat, cheese and fruit platters with tang and machine made coffee, this

Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had.
We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts.
We'll go back again at this time of year.
The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.

The staff, particularly Andy on reception, were amazing. I did, through my own fault, have a problem with my booking but it was sorted without any drama and our room was very good. On a very very cold March day (6 degrees) it was warm with a very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and quiet.

Great city centre hotel. Stylish and comfortable. Parking was in a public underground car park a few minutes walk away. Hotel offered valet parking service and help with bags. Rooms a high standard with separate bath and shower. Close to centre of city, restaurants, bars and Alhambra. Gin and tonics in the roof top bar were very welcome after long drive.
