24 hours reception - I arrived at 1am, and staff was friendly and kind. Check in took 2 minutes.
Location is perfect, 15 walk from Park Guell.
Kitchen equipment is provided, and they are brand new, good quality bowls, glasses, etc. Free coffee and tea is also available.
Sant Jordi hostel is special not only because of the beautiful and professional design, but because of supporting socializing among hostel guests. After half day I felt like I was part of a big family!

This place was awesome!! Exactly what we expected and more!!! The receptionist (Constanza) was just incredible! She went out of her way to make sure we were ok!! Most of the days we were there there was free food in the kitchen!! The hostel held a Halloween party and again lots of food and wine free... the terrace outside for breakfast is great! T

Very friendly staff (who speaks Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, English, ...), cosy atmosphere, large terrace, feels like home in no time, very clean bathroom and kitchen facilities, good wifi, breakfast included at a very sharp price, well located (Metro Diagonal just around the corner), great place to get to know other foreign people, lockers in dormitory rooms, good beds. It's like one big apartment you share with a bunch of people in the heart of Barcelona!

It has a convenient location - Sagrada Familia is in walking distance and the subway station “Verdauger” is at hand, you need just cross the roads (actually, it is possible to walk to the Rambla and many others points of reference but if you like walking and you have the time). I rented the quadruple room for myself, my college-age daughter and her friend. The room was very comfortable with a double bed for myself and bunk-beds for the girls. It was all very clean and comfortable, with a cute wrought iron balcony (very Barcelona), shared bathroom/shower facilities. The whole hostel is quite roomy, with plenty of bathrooms and a cute kitchen. The staff is wonderful. Location is perfect, less touristy but quite close to tourist spots, a short walk to the Metro. Very friendly staff. Clean sheets for bed. It's also useful to have access to the kitchen, where we could cook our own food.
As it's a small hostel, many of the guests get to talk to each other at the reception so the atmosphere is very positive.

But the main advantage is that it's really warm in the hostel (I
stayed in several hostels in Spain in winter and it's usually
unbearably cold inside, specially during the daytime)!

Es un hostal que no cuenta con lujos pero que tiene un trato acogedor y una decoración que hace que te sientas como en casa. Los clientes por lo general son muy respetuosos, cosa difícil en una habitación en la que duermes con otras 11 personas. Todo está limpio y el personal es muy atento. Lo recomiendo totalmente. -

The staffs were very helpful, Xavier was very very very helpful. I will definitely be returning here with friends. The beach is just next to the hotel, like literally 5mins walk. The metro is also around the corner, about 5-8mins walk depending on how fast you walk, you will also make new friends and you all will have the time of your lives. Didn't get the chance to do all I came here for, cause of the beach. Got really distracted. But then again, who goes on holiday and gets to do all they cam

Maybe it sounds too flattering, but that is what I experienced with Angel (Billie). The staff received an award for their friendly and helpful attitude, and they deserved it. And the free dinner.
