From the King Shaka International Airport, travel along the N2 south and take the Avoca/Kwa Mashu off-ramp, gliding left into North Coast Road. At the fourth set of traffic lights you will find the Red Hill Post Office on the left. Proceed 400 m to the North Lodge Cottages entrance on the left-hand side. A row of banana plants are along the wall, which will identify our driveway. From the city proceed north along Umgeni Road, cross the Umgeni River over Connaught Bridge, continue through the traffic lights after the bridge and continue along North Coast Road. Pass the Engen Garage on the left and proceed to the traffic lights at the Nandi Drive turn-off. From here, proceed through three more sets of traffic lights, finding the Red Hill Post Office on the right-hand side. Immediately after crossing the third set of traffic lights, use the roundabout on the left and follow the curved brick wall to approach the intersection. Turn right into North Coast Road, you would have made the equivalent of a U-turn. Proceed 400 m to the North Lodge Cottages entrance on the left-hand side.
