Burt was the perfect host. He was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were well-decorated, cozy and spacious. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

The owner was knowledgeable regarding the travel industry which ensured an incredibly good facility with attention to detail superb. We will return.

Of street parking but we can completely understand that space is prime.

Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Excellent location, easy to find and easy to park in front of the house. Great view from the balcony. Complimentary Nespresso coffee, tea, beer and wine. Confortable bed and clean room. Burt is very friendly and giving lot of advices on things to do. I'll come back definitely!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anchor Bay Guesthouse, the host has been great to us! Such a warm welcome in Cape Town. The guesthouse is near restaurants and you can walk to V&A Waterfront. The room was really comfortable. We really recommend this guesthouse!

The lovely host, Burt. Immaculate condition of the property, extremely high levels of cleanliness. Full DSTV bouquet in the common sitting room. Sea view. Quality coffee machine.

Highly recommended! Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home. The hosts are extremely helpful with everything. We had a very late flight and could use all facilities in the house during that day. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Cape Town!

Great amenities. Great location within walking distance of GreenPoint park and ocean front walkways as well as restaurants. Easy to get around. Comfortable and quiet.

Internet good, but a bit slow (but that seems to be pretty par for the course in all of South Africa.)

very friendly, efficient reception and interaction with owners/managers. I travel a lot and there is attention to detail, together with privacy. Overall a very pleasant experience.
