Great location. Spacious and well designed. Restaurant was welcoming and well designed. Very friendly staff. Safe parking. Located conveniently near markets where you can get food for kitchenette. Great bathtub.

The rooftop area was very windy. There is a pool, and a decent view, but the space isn't all that usable.

Location is great, hotel is good value compared to other proximate alternatives. Lots of space in the room, nice balcony attached to bar area.

Staff weren't always at reception which was mildly irritating. Lack of internet also annoying.

The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the bowl, close to the garden market and all shops. It's about a half hour walk to V&A waterfront and Robben Island ferries. We ate at the restaurant and it was lovely. Staff are friendly and very helpful.Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

The room was very stylish and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. You can park your car in the same building for very reasonable rate. Small kitchen was of help as well.

The dishwasher did not work and was not repaired after our claim. During rain the water was dropping from ventilation system.

We have never seen a hotel like this, everything was really wonderful. Upon our arrival we were even upgraded (for no additional costs!!) to a Luxury Suite. The stuff was really helpful and very pleasant, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and very spacious. The hotel is situated right in the city centre, just 2-minute walk from Long Street. Taxis are just outside the entrance which is really convenient for going around the city. Also, the hotel arranges airport transfers and the guy who was driving us was really nice and very helpful. All in all, a great experience! We would definitely stay here again! :)

Almost everything, it's gorgeous and really convenient if you are visiting the city it's really clean ( but they could get rid of that rug in the middle of the room)

Being upgraded to a nicer room for free, staff always being present and helpful, stylish, clean and contemporary, location was fantastic

View wasn't great, key kept deactivating, breakfast was very expensive and not very good.

Very generously sized, comfortable and well decorated rooms. surprisingly quiet despite being in the city center.

We thought we had parked in the right parking but we had our wheels clamped & a R300 fine as a result. It may be useful for a staff member to check this when you check in so you are aware of which are the correct spaces.

Bar and restaurant service unpredictable and slow. Wrong items brought. Wines on wine menu out of stock. Some confusion about breakfast (down to letsbookhotel.com) - we paid in advance for breakfast and found it only covered continental: cooked breakfast was extra.

The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.

The staff is great, very pleasant and co-operative. Helped me arrange for a cape peninsula tour and also care rental at the last minute.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were extremely spacious and had good facilities. The rooms and bathroom were clean. We did not eat at the restaurant but this did look nice and it was a bit cold for the pool but looked like a nice area. Very close to Long and Kloof Street.

Lack of free wifi...makes such a difference.
