We've spent about 8 weeks in St. Petersburg over the past 5 years as
students, and our dorms were located in old Soviet apartment blocks; so
this hotel was a welcomed change for our short visit back to Peter!! The
hotel was very clean, which surprised me as most of St. Petersburg is on

A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex
and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing
to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to
comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the
center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm
Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the
expensive side.

The location is ideal, just across from the Moscow Railway Station and
at the start of Nevsky Prospekt. We had an interior room overlooking a
quiet courtyard. Food service downstairs in the French themed restaurant
is very inviting. -

Our apartment was on Malaya Morskaya Street, 16, it was very clean and
had all the house things you need, from bedsheets towels soups shampo,
all kitchen needs, the internetnet was free of charge and very good
connection, the location is 5 min walk to the hermitage and other

Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review
normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful

The Hotel is located on the other side of the river Neva. The nearest
metro station “Gorkovskaya” is about 10 min. On foot. Therefore it is
better to use the bridges and be in the center… So the location is
pretty good for walkers. The hotel room was clean and well prepared.
Breakfast made a big impression. The breakfast room is a little bit
small, but food quality and selection meets the highest expectations. If
you are looking for entertainment (bars, restaurants, swimming pool,

Check in and out was fast and easy, no waitings. No deposits at check in. Room (Mallorca) was very nice, cute and comfy. The hotel is a splendid old house in a very quiet area. Our room was very large and comfortable.
The buffet breakfast (included) was excellent as was the restaurant in the evenings.
However, the best feature of the hotel was the staff - friendly, helpful, and with fluent English. My wife found the bed a little too soft for her back - housekeeping quickly set up a mattress on the floor which solved the problem.
In short - highly recommended.

The room was nice, much better and bigger than hotel room. Kitchen was a plus and had everything we need to cook a meal. The hotel is close to the metro which is great. Luckily I checked out google maps ahead of time or else I may have had a problem finding the entrance though. The rooms were big and clean and I liked the "Russian" view. Everything was working right and it was perfect, I honestly can't think of something bad to say. The staff were helpful as well.
